Computerised Four Wheel Alignment
A properly-aligned vehicle can protect you from spending hundreds of dollars in tire replacement and suspension repairs. That's why we recommend having your vehicle's alignment checked every 6 months or 6,000 miles. At Kian Teong Auto Centre, certified technicians perform alignments using the latest computerized technology for state-of-the-art accuracy.
The DSP600 Sensors feature a unique, patented design to speed alignment and reduce downtime. DSP600 Sensors utilize four high-resolution, digital cameras that offer the same high-speed screen updates as conventional sensors. Mounted on a pedestal, high enough to stay out of harm's way, the patented four-camera system projects a wide field of view to continuously monitor wheel target position and orientation over a range of alignment lift heights. This unequalled capability virtually eliminates the need for moving cameras and allows a technician to adjust the lift height to a comfortable working position without compromising the cameras' ability to monitor the targets. DSP600 Sensors greatly increase the speed of the initial data acquisition. After mounting the targets, a technician simply rolls the vehicle back and forth to quickly compensate all the sensors at once and then immediately views camber, toe and thrust line measurements. DSP600 Sensors offer multi-dimensional modeling to provide accurate alignment measurements. A technician can choose from either a live plane mode, which uses the targets as a reference plane or the traditional alignment mode, which uses the rack runways as a reference plane.
The WinAlign Software features make alignment fast and easy, using the most comprehensive alignment information database in the industry.
Why Four Wheel Alignment?
Reduced Tire Wear
Improper alignment is a major cause of premature tire wear. Over the years, a properly aligned vehicle can add thousands of miles to tire life.
Better Gas Mileage
Gas mileage increases as rolling resistance decreases. Total alignment sets all four wheel parallel which, along with proper inflation, minimizes rolling resistance
Improved Handling
Does your car pull to one side? Does the steering wheel vibrate? Do you constantly have to move the steering wheel to keep your car traveling straight ahead? Many handling problems can be corrected by total alignment. With all the system components aligned properly, road shock is more efficiently absorbed for a smoother ride.
Safer Driving
A suspension system inspection is part of our alignment procedure. This allows us to spot worn parts before they cause costly problems.
